Cordless lawn mowers have come along way in the last few years. Battery technology has improved massively and the electric motors that power the mowers have become more efficient and more powerful. Quite

Compared to a gas or corded electric mower, a cordless lawn mowers is much quieter. The noise level is equivalent to a normal conversation between two people, about 60 decibels. You can talk while using one without having your voice drowned out by the sound of the machine cutting grass. This means less potential damage to your ears and you won't disturb your neighbours at the weekend.

Environmentally friendly lawn mower

Environmentally friendly

If you care about the environment, you'll be pleased to know that Cordless lawn mowers use up to 80% less energy when compared with traditional gas or electric-powered models, making them a great choice for the environment. Even better if yo charge the batteries using a renewable energy supply your cordless lawn mower will omit zero emissions.

Lightweight mower

Lightweight

One of the best qualities about cordless lawn mowers is that they are lightweight. The lightest we've reviewed, only weighed 35 pounds. That's under half the weight of the equivalent gas mower. Because of their lightweight it makes them easy to use and manoeuvre, especially useful if you need to get close up to walls or underneath trees for a trim.

Low maintenance

Minimal Maintenance

Another great thing about a cordless lawn mower is they require very little maintenance. Keep the mower clean and the blades sharpened, other than that you just need to recharge the battery when required. Compare that to a gas lawn mower which requires regular servicing and maintenance.

Easy to store

Convenient to Store

Due to their lightweight cordless lawn mowers are easy to store, so you can hang them up or just put them on a shelf. They don't take much space up when they are folded up. There is no need for gas, oil or water which all make storage of a gas mower more complicated. Electric mowers have all that cord that you need to wind up and store, not such issue with a cordless lawn mower.

Easy to use Cordless Mower

Easy to Use

There are no cords to get tangled or no pulling of cords to start the mower, you simply slot in a charged battery and your lawn mower is ready to go. Because they aren't very heavy they are easy to control and move around. Operating the mower is simply a case of pressing the safety button (or lever) and pulling the power lever. Batteries are easy to insert & remove from the mower, usually by pressing a button and sliding them out. It's a similar process for charging the batteries. Just slide them in \ out of the charger. The battery charger simply needs to be plugged into the mains power and as soon as a battery is inserted (you can't insert the wrong way) the charger automatically starts charging. Virtually all charges will automatically stop charging once the battery is full, preventing damage to the battery.

How to Assemble a Cordless Lawn Mower
